About Us
Sheffield Beach Estate is a unique upmarket, private, gated boutique estate, hidden in the heart of Sheffield Beach, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. With only 37 units situated in indigenous forests and impeccable well maintained indigenous gardens. It is surrounded by other gated estates, giving Sheffield Beach Estate an extra layer of security. Perched at the top of a rolling coastal hill, the Estate offers breath-taking sea views from most homes. Sheffield Beach Estate is within walking distance to Sheffield Beach and the beautiful, secluded Christmas Bay. The Estate is situated just north of Salt Rock, only 10 minutes from the centre of Ballito. The beautiful coastline offers sheltered coves and safe rock pools, Sheffield Beach is one of the best places to enjoy a day in the sun.
Our History
Sheffield Beach Estate was first built in 2004, it is a well-established estate with teaming fauna and flora. The estate is set within a 10-hectare property, of which 6 hectares consist of green privacy belts between each property and an indigenous forest teaming with a variety of birds, insects, small mammals, amphibians and reptiles, and diverse flora. The stunning Bali-style homes are mostly sea facing, while others are nestled in a beautiful forest, alive with bird-song and dappled in sunlight, and some have views that embrace the sea and the Sheffield valley. Amongst the roaming wildlife, there is a family of mongoose that are often found playing through the Estate. Sheffield Beach Estate is a well-run estate boasting a quiet serene environment that allows each home its privacy. The estate has three retention dams and an indigenous forest walk.
